Hmm, perfect day. I’m out at breakfast just after I roll out of bed from having an amazing night out with friends and the dude sitting across from me at the bar at this cute diner buys me a very Bloody Mary with a side bowl of olives. Then I jet over to a swimming hole, maybe something like Barton Springs in Austin Texas, there I meet up with friends we have some beers and float around in the river until our cheeks are red from the sun. Afterward I go home for a quick cat nap, then I go meet up with friends again at some dive bar where I will meet all kinds of interesting new faces. On my perfect day I also will end up crashing at my best friends house so that we can stay up even later to eat all kinds of drive thru junk foods and talk about everything and nothing all at once.

Well, I guess I should consider myself a lucky gal! I have a great job that provides me the proper funding for my getaways, and I get to travel as I’m working! I’m also in charge of making my own schedule so taking a few days off here and there is never a problem. It does help that I do have friends just about everywhere I go so instead of paying for a floor to crash on I donate pizza or beer (a weekend of hospitality for $20, can’t beat that!). So just throw some snacks and a pair of pj’s in a back pack, grab a close friend, and hop on a bus! Trust me, it is easier than you think (aside from the trip I have been saving up for this summer to the UK; it’s costing a pretty penny). GOOD LUCK TO YOU! XXXX
